Sky Watcher telescope equipped with an achromatic refractor based on a two-element lens with a diameter of 102 mm and a focal length of 1000 mm. The device provides a bright and clear image, which will prove useful when observing craters on the surface of the Moon and bright comets.It was mounted on an aluminum tripod and an EQ3-2 parallactic mount with micro-motion, which features stability, and allows astrophotography. On the head there are mounting holes that allow the connection of any type of drive, including GoTo SynScan. The mounting used allows the attachment of telescopes equipped with a Vixen-standard Dovetail mounting rail.The optical system was built as a classic Fraunhofer doublet and coated with anti-reflection coatings. The moderate light intensity of f/9.8 guarantees very good, even sharpness throughout the field of view. The stellar range is 12.3 magnitudes and the collecting ability (compared to the unaided eye) is 204, which allows for distant and clear observations.The BK 1021 EQ3-2 is equipped with a 2' Rack & Pinion (rack & pinion) eyepiece focuser.
